How to Login to make Payments
- STEP 1: If you have an American express account, visit www.Americanexpress.com to Login.
- STEP 2: Press the ‘login’ button on the home page.

- STEP 4: Press the ‘login’ button to gain access to your account.
- STEP 5: If want your password and user ID saved by your browser, you should check the ‘remember me’ checkbox.
Forgot your American Express User ID or Password?
In case you have forgotten your user ID or password, there is a recovery option.
- STEP 1: Hit the ‘Forgot password or user ID?’ option will enable you recover the information.
- STEP 2: Fill in the information that will be requested in the next page to finish your application.
- STEP 3: If you suspect some malicious activity in your account, select the ‘visit our security center’ option. This will enable you track your account activity and take the necessary measures.
How to apply for a American Express Credit Card?
The American express company offers 20 different cards and are available on their site. Some of the cards are; Amex everyday credit card, platinum card from American express, premier rewards gold card, American express green card, gold card from American express among others. The cards are available in different colors.
- STEP 1: If you would like to apply for a certain card, you should visit the site at www.americanexpress.com
- STEP 2: Select the card that pleases you, for example, Amex Everyday Credit card, and select the ‘apply now’ button.
- STEP 3: You will be required to fill some personal information which includes; your full name, name on your card, email address, social security number, date of birth, phone number, home address, total annual income, income source, and if you are enrolled in the Starwood preferred guest program.
- STEP 4: Fill other optional additional information which include; if you would like to request additional cards and if you would like to transfer balances.
- STEP 5: Press the ‘continue’ button to continue immediately, or ‘save and complete later’ option, to save the information for later completion.
How to activate American Express Credit Card?
On completing the process, your account will be created and you will be sent an activation code to your email.
- STEP 1: Open your email and copy the activation code.
- STEP 2: Paste the activation code on the page that presents after pressing the continue button. Click the verify button to activate your card.
